SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Authorities in Shelby County are conducting an investigation after a person was shot Thursday night on Indian Crest Drive.
According to Shelby County Chief Deputy Clay Hammac, one person was injured and transported to a local hospital. Their injuries are unknown and authorities have identified both parties.
Hammac says they believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat posed to the community. No arrests have been announced…
