Alabama man Billy Keith Hamilton, 42, has been sentenced to 24 months in prison on a supervised release revocation for illegal possession of a firearm. United States District Judge Annemarie C. Axon also sentenced Hamilton to 27 consecutive months in prison after he plead guilty to charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, for a total of 51 months.
Hamilton is from Midfield, AL, and was arrested on July 13, 2024, after a state trooper initiated a traffic stop. Hamilton attempted to flee in his car with his young children in the backseat.
