Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama and the Bessemer Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in an ongoing shooting investigation.
According to authorities, Bessemer Police officers responded at approximately 10:40 p.m. on January 18, 2026, to a report of a person shot in the 700 block of Powder Plant Road. Officers arrived at the scene and located a person in a parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
