BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Delta Air Lines is sending additional staffing to Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport and other southeastern hubs as winter weather forces thousands of flight cancellations across the region.
The airline is bringing reinforcements to Birmingham, Huntsville, Atlanta, Nashville, and Knoxville, sending experts from cold weather hubs to help with de-icing and baggage operations.
