Threatening message sends Deer Valley Elementary to remote learning

HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) — A Hoover City School is going remote Wednesday after receiving a threatening voice message.

Merrick Wilson, with Hoover City Schools, said a “threatening automated voice message” was sent to Deer Valley Elementary School and is going remote out of an abundance of caution. Hoover police are investigating the message.
