JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) – A Pell City man has died following a single-vehicle crash Friday morning on Interstate 20 in Jefferson County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA says the crash happened around 9:50 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, near the 140-mile marker on I-20, close to the Leeds city limits. Investigators say a 2001 Ford F-150 left the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.
The driver, 38-year-old Robby S. Isbell of Pell City, was critically injured in the crash. ALEA reports Isbell was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle, and was transported to UAB Hospital for treatment. He later died from his injuries…
