BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Birmingham city leaders approved $160,000 to fund Create Birmingham, an organization aimed at attracting film and television productions to the metro area.
City officials said the investment supported independent film and TV projects, helped local filmmakers, and boosted the city’s economy.
