Details of ICE agent’s injuries in Shelby County arrest revealed

A deportation officer injured in what ICE officials described as a violent assault this week in Shelby County sustained a concussion, a cut to the jaw, a knot on the head and a cut on the knee, according to newly released court records.

Jose Emilio Ba-Ruiz, 51, is charged with assault of a federal officer.
