KENNER, La. (WGNO) — The Kenner City Council voted unanimously to begin negotiations to bring the Squadron to Kenner.
This resolution could bring future stars of the NBA and put fans in seats at the Pontchartrain Center.
“We feel great because the city of Kenner and the Pelicans group have been I think about 18 months into these negotiations and concept of them moving the team to the city of Kenner,” Kenner Mayor Michael Glaser said.
