BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Brianna Samuels set a new personal record in the 600 meters and won the event to highlight the Alabama A&M University men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams’ performance on Saturday at the Birmingham Crossplex.
Samuels won the event, logging a personal-best time of 1:33.15, while teammate Minka Isom placed sixth, logging a time of 1:38.42.
In the 800m, Sanyae Gibson posted a personal-best time of 2L18.08 and just missed the top spot in claiming second, Chelsea Whitehurst just missed qualifying for the finals in the 60m hurdles, finishing ninth with a time of 8.92…
