Ensley High School alum share thoughts on future development plans for vacant space

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Born and raised in Ensley, Dwight Battle said the empty lot where the Ensley High School once stood has since become an eye sore in the community.

The school closed its doors in 2006. A few years later, a fire led to its demolition.
