The Birmingham Police Department (BPD) are investigating a homicide that happened yesterday, Saturday, Feb. 14, at about 8 p.m. Dispatchers received a call about a shooting on 3100 12th Avenue North and found evidence of one in the parking lot when they arrived and sealed off the area.
Officers were made aware of gunshot victims shortly after the first call that had gone to a local hospital in a private vehicle. It was confirmed that the man and woman were victims from the shooting on 12th Avenue North.
The woman ultimately died from her injuries, but the man is still currently in critical condition. BPD have not taken anyone into custody at this time…
