BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Birmingham police are investigating a homicide after a woman was shot and killed on Valentine’s Day.
Shaneka Hicks, 20, of Birmingham, was killed during a reported assault in the 3100 block of 12th Avenue North about 8:04 p.m. She was taken to UAB St. Vincent’s Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
