Unfortunately, two fatal train accidents have occurred in the same U.S. state this month.
This past Saturday, a mother and her 8-year-old daughter were killed when their vehicle was struck by an Amtrak train in Theodore, Alabama. According to investigators, the audible signal, flashing lights and crossing arms were all working when the crash occurred.
