PINSON, Ala. (WBRC) – The National Weather Service confirmed a microburst in Pinson and a possible tornado in Trussville Thursday afternoon.
The Pinson area experienced significant damage from a powerful straight-line wind event, with wind speeds estimated between 70-75 mph. The NWS has confirmed this damage was caused by a microburst.
