BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – A woman has plead guilty to felony murder in connection to a deadly beating that took place in September 2021.
In November 2021, Monyuett Hinson was charged with capital murder after she reportedly beat a 76-year-old man to death with a space heater.
Bessemer Police say that on Sept. 8, 2021, Hinson attacked Alverner Blanks with a space heater in Blanks’ own house in the 2300 block of Holbrook Terrace. Blanks died from his injuries on Sept. 24, 2021.
According to police, at the time of the beating, Hinson was out on bond for attempted murder and robbery of Blanks as well…
