BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A team conducted a paranormal investigation Saturday of the oldest house in Birmingham that some claim is haunted with spirits.
The place in question is the Arlington Historic House, where ghost hunters gathered for an investigation hosted by Southern Ghost Girls Tours. Ghost hunters used state-of-the-art equipment and old-school methods to purportedly communicate with the afterlife.

Southern Ghost Girls Tours founder Lesley Ann Hyde and her team said they have experienced several paranormal incidents while investigating the mansion.
“We investigate here at Arlington House, but we do other venues in Alabama, Georgia and some in Tennessee, and all of our events we give back, either to historic preservation or other charities,” Hyde said. “We’re big animal advocates, so we raise money for different humane societies and shelters and rescues.”…
