JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A Forestdale man has pleaded not guilty following his arrest in connection with a domestic shooting and the abduction of his young son, authorities reported.
Willie Edward McClain, 49, entered a plea of not guilty Monday in a Jefferson County court.
The incident occurred in the early hours of May 13, 2024, on the 100 block of Dewberry Lane in Forestdale. Deputies were called to investigate a shooting and found that McClain’s 31-year-old wife had walked to a nearby fire station seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.
