BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC/Gray News) – A woman pleaded guilty to felony murder after killing a 76-year-old man with a space heater in 2021.
According to the Bessemer Police Department, Monyuett Hinson attacked Alverner Blanks with a space heater in his home on Sept. 8, 2021. Blanks died from his injuries on Sept. 24, 2021.
In November 2021, Hinson was charged with capital murder.
