New $25M Grocery Project Proposed in Trussville

TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (WBMA) — The Trussville City Council is expected to consider a major development proposal in the coming weeks that could bring a new grocery retailer and significant infrastructure upgrades to the city.

According to Ben Short, the proposed project would redevelop the former Chocolate Biscuit site at Watterson Parkway and Highway 11 with an estimated $25 million private investment. The development is projected to generate approximately $25 million in annual sales and would be anchored by a national grocery retailer.
