After months of waiting, chicken-finger fans finally got their Raising Cane’s fix at the restaurant’s grand opening Tuesday, March 10. This makes Alabama’s third Cane’s location and first in the Birmingham area.
The lightning storm was not enough to keep customers away from the new location at 5301 US-280. Some folks were in line for 14 to 16 hours, vying for “the one-of-a-kind gift basket” and a big welcome from the Cane’s crew. By the time the store opened at 10AM, there were hundreds of people waiting in line to order Cane’s.
For the first 100 combos purchased inside the restaurant, customers received a Cane’s branded trucker hat and a free combo card to use on a future visit.
