JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – Cleanup is underway across central Alabama after strong storms moved through the area Monday evening, bringing heavy rain, gusty winds and reports of damage in several communities.
Emergency crews reported multiple downed trees and power lines, with some roads temporarily blocked as crews worked to clear debris.
Storm impacts were reported across several parts of central Alabama, including areas in Jefferson County such as Oak Grove, the Adger community and Vestavia Hills. Officials also reported damage in Hueytown.
