Storms overnight left flooding in Homewood around Rosedale Drive and 18th Street where a collapsed pipe caused water to pool in the road.
Homewood City Manager Cale Smith said the water has since been manually pumped out, a big difference from the post-storm pool blocked off by cones. But the reason for the flooding will still need to be addressed.
“There’s nowhere for the water to go because of the collapsed pipe, it can get through slowly. They’ve pumped out the water downstream,” Smith said…
