SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – As crews in multiple counties clean up the mess left behind after overnight storms, officials are sharing a warning.
“Especially if power is involved, we always encourage people not to approach the trees because if there is power lines that are down, you may not see them – especially at night,” said James Fuller, the Chief Information Officer for the City of Calera.
In Shelby County, trees fell on a camper home in Calera. WBRC is told everyone there is OK.
Trees also went down on County Road 86 and County Road 84 near Vulcan Materials in Calera. Both roads are now passable…
