A Birmingham man connected to a deadly 2025 shooting is back in custody.
Police say 19-year-old Remeon Lewis was arrested by the Birmingham Police Department’s Crime Reduction Team on March 19 without incident. He was wanted for failure to appear in court on a murder charge tied to the killing of Demarious Cherry. Cherry was killed on February 5, 2025 in the 900 block of 46th Street North.
