Birmingham woman indicted in malnutrition, starvation death of 5-year-old daughter

A Birmingham mother has been indicted in the alleged neglect death of her young daughter.

Jaedah Robinson, 5, died in the fall of 2025 of starvation and malnutrition. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office ruled her death a homicide.

A Jefferson County grand jury has now indicted Raven Alexander Rogers, 34, on charges of criminally negligent homicide in Jaedah’s death. Rogers is also charged with endangering the welfare of her older daughter, according to court records made public Thursday…
