LEEDS, Ala. (TRIBUNE) — An investigation that began in February has led to drug trafficking charges against a Leeds woman, according to investigators with the Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force.
Law enforcement officials said that in February of 2026, officers conducted an investigation into the illegal distribution of methamphetamine from Britney Perez of Leeds.
“The investigation led to a narcotics search warrant in the 800 Block of Colonial Acres Drive, Leeds, AL,” SCDE Task Force officials said. “On March 13, 2026, Investigators executed the search warrant and located trafficking amounts of methamphetamine, packaging material, and a firearm inside of the residence.”…
