Truck driver with no CDL arrested after roadside inspection in Alabama uncovers 185 pounds of marijuana

An Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) trooper recently arrested a truck driver on multiple charges after finding a large amount of marijuana on his commercial vehicle.

On March 31, 2026, an ALEA Motor Carrier Safety Unit (MCSU) trooper conducted a commercial vehicle inspection on a truck on I-20 near mile marker 143 in St. Clair County.
