The retailer announced the service last fall as part of a nationwide initiative. It lets customers order a large share of Target’s in-store inventory online and receive those items the next day. In Birmingham, orders placed by early evening are typically eligible for next-day delivery. The service is free on purchases above a set threshold. Members of Target’s paid loyalty program and store cardholders receive additional delivery benefits.
