BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A restaurant that has been a staple of fine dining in the Cahaba Heights neighborhood for over 20 years will soon be serving its last meal.
Satterfield’s, which first opened in Vestavia in 2005, will close on April 18. Its owners announced the closure on social media April 3.
“After 21 remarkable years, Satterfield’s will close on April 18th as we will not be renewing our lease with our favorite landlord, Maurice Humphries with LAH,” the statement read. “We are deeply thankful for our friendships, celebrations, and memories shared around our tables. Serving this community and outlying areas has been a true honor and privilege. Please come see us in the coming weeks as we celebrate the final chapter of Satterfield’s together with a toast.”…
