MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Candace Dice says she and her family have made the drive from Mobile to Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham regularly to see a specialist, and while the cost of gas puts a financial strain on them, she says skipping the trip is simply not an option.
“It makes us nervous but we do what we can, they have to see the doctors,” Dice said.
