What Happened on March 8

On March 8 at around 1:45 p.m., a child was seen running down Wood Carriage Lane, shouting for help. Witnesses quickly noticed something was wrong—her eyes were red, and her face appeared swollen.

Someone nearby called 911, prompting a rapid response from the Leeds Police Department. Officers arrived at the scene and followed the child back to her home.

Inside, they found another child of similar age. Both children were taken to a hospital for medical evaluation.
