Nursing is the most popular degree program for undergraduate students in the state, according to an AL.com analysis.
Alabama’s four-year colleges awarded more than 2,000 registered nursing degrees last year.
Across the 14 four-year public colleges and universities, here are the top five undergraduate degrees awarded last year.
- Registered nursing: 2,164 degrees
- Business administration and management: 1,465 degrees
- Psychology: 1,390 degrees
- Marketing/marketing management: 1,227 degrees
- Finance: 1,171 degrees
