Birmingham Fire and Rescue to install free smoke alarms following deadly house fire

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Birmingham Fire and Rescue Services will be installing free smoke alarms on Saturday, April 25.

“I want to remind people that fire alarms save lives,” said Birmingham Fire Chief Cory D. Moon. “I want to remind everyone that we care about the safety of our citizens, and we give out working smoke alarms. We install them free of charge.”
