Birmingham mayor won’t sign nightclub safety ordinance after outcry: ‘Those concerns are fair’

Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin said he will not sign an amended ordinance that would have required enhanced safety plans from bars and clubs open late at night.

The city council on Tuesday unanimously passed the amended Kelvyn Felder Ordinance.
