The Birmingham Stallions won a 21-17 overtime thriller against the Dallas Renegades Saturday night at Protective Stadium to put themselves squarely back in the UFL playoff picture.
Birmingham’s Dorian Thompson-Robinson led a fourth-quarter game-tying drive, then was perfect in the overtime shootout to capture the win, but the biggest story of the night may have been the Stallions’ defense that held the high scoring Dallas offense to just seven points in the second half and overtime. Birmingham (3-4) earned its second straight victory, while the Renegades (3-4) dropped their fourth in a row.
