(Miami, FL) – South Florida hosts many real-world sporting events like the World Cup. As a result, the Local Emergency Planning Committee is conducting a large-scale emergency response to a simulated chemical drone attack at IMCF stadium in Broward Wednesday.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue spokesman Frank Guzman says participating agencies include local hazmat teams and the FBI. They will practice patient triage, mass decontamination and multi-agency communications.
