Broward County, Florida – Broward County is preparing to lift a busy stretch of Sheridan Street, where the bridge passes over Florida’s Turnpike, in a $12.7 million safety project meant to give taller vehicles more room and reduce the chance of strikes to the structure.
The work is being led by the County’s Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division in partnership with contractor Structural Technologies.
