LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A Lake Worth restaurant was temporarily ordered shut by the state last week after inspectors found 34 violations, including live roaches, flies, temperature issues, medications stored above food and an employee bed set up in the kitchen’s dry storage area, according to our news partners at the Sun Sentinel.
Yến’s Kitchen, at 7364 Lake Worth Road, was ordered closed June 9 after an inspection by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
Inspectors reported about 24 live roaches in several areas, including on the floor under a glass-door reach-in cooler at the cook line, crawling out of an open box of flour mix on a table next to a flip-top cooler, on a table behind a tabletop flip-top cooler and coming from behind a table and wall behind the flip-top cooler.
