Friends, family honor Connor Blais after deadly West Palm Beach hit-and-run

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Friends, family, coworkers, and members of the community are gathering Sunday to honor the life of a beloved West Palm Beach bartender who was killed in a hit-and-run while riding an electric scooter home from work.

A memorial for 28-year-old Connor Blais is being held at 4 p.m. Sunday at O’Shea’s Irish Pub, 531 Clematis St., where he worked.

West Palm Beach police said Blais was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning, according to previous reports. Officers responded to South Olive Avenue near Lakewood Road around 1:50 a.m. and found him dead in the roadway. An electric scooter was found nearby, investigators said…
