PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A West Palm Beach woman was arrested Sunday after deputies said she tried to steal a woman’s scooter outside a grocery store, then turned violent when the victim fought back.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that Shequilla Brianna Shaw, 31, faces robbery without a firearm or weapon in connection with the June 1 incident outside El Bodegon grocery store in unincorporated Palm Beach County. Shaw was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on July 12.
According to a PBSO probable cause affidavit, the victim was sitting outside the store when Shaw approached and asked for money. Investigators said Shaw then went over to the victim’s scooter and attempted to ride away on it…
