David Jolly pitches Florida governor bid at Delray Beach town hall in Palm Beach County

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Democratic candidate for Florida governor David Jolly brought his campaign to Palm Beach County on Monday night, holding a town hall in Delray Beach where he laid out his vision for the state and took questions from voters as the 2026 governor’s race begins to take shape.

Jolly, a former Republican congressman who left the GOP and is now running as a Democrat, spoke to a packed crowd at the Dr. Andre Fladell Civic Center. He focused on issues including rising housing costs, property insurance, public health, and political division, while arguing that voter frustration with Republican leadership could create an opening for Democrats.
