Palm Beach County Closes $13M Loan for Affordable Housing

The financing package breaks down into a $7,870,000 loan through the County’s Housing Bond Loan Program and a $5,130,000 loan through the Housing Initiatives Program. The financing officially closed on July 2, 2026.

The money will support construction of a six-story affordable housing development at 4420 W. Tiffany Drive in Mangonia Park. The total development cost for the project comes in at $53,393,888.

Once complete, the project will offer 140 County-Assisted, spacious one-bedroom rental units. Of those, 56 units will be reserved for households earning at or below 30 percent of the Area Median Income, and 84 units will go to households earning at or below 80 percent of the Area Median Income. County officials say the mix is designed to provide deeply affordable housing options for seniors and disabled adults.
