Delray Beach Fire Rescue was called to a combined brush fire and house fire around 1:50 this afternoon. Firefighters remain on the scene as of 5 p.m.
There are no reports of injuries but fighting a fire in the extreme heat is exceptionally challenging.
We have learned that firefighters at first thought that it was only a brush fire in the area, but realized on the scene that a house was completely engulfed. There’s no immediate information regarding a cause…
