Cyclist identified in deadly Lake Worth Beach train collision; new details released

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Investigators have identified the 38-year-old cyclist killed in Friday’s Tri-Rail crash as new details emerge about what led up to the collision.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 7:47 a.m. along the 3000 block of Lake Worth Road, near the Lake Worth Beach station.
