BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) — Boca Raton detectives went door to door Monday and searched the edge of a parking lot as the hunt continued for multiple gunmen who police say shot a woman and chased her toward a hospital.
The targeted attack happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday near the 1400 block of Northeast Second Court, just north of Glades Road and Federal Highway.
Police said the woman was getting into her car when gunmen inside a nearby white Mercedes-Benz opened fire.
Although she was shot, the woman managed to drive away, heading west on Glades Road toward a hospital. The Mercedes followed her for a short distance before ending the chase, according to investigators…
