PBSO: Suspect stole Kia from Delray dealership, struck unmarked car while fleeing

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is accused of stealing a Kia from a Delray Beach dealership, then crashing into an unmarked police car while fleeing, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

PBSO says that Christopher Charles Dixon, 28, as arrested on Wednesday in Riviera Beach after he was allegedly driving a stolen Kia Carnival from Delray Kia located at 2255 S. Federal Highway.

The affidavit says that after he stole the car, Dixon and the vehicle were tracked to the Publix parking lot at 2620 Lake Shore Drive. PBSO says that once Dixon and a woman entered the stolen Kia, agents approached with emergency lights and sirens activated…
