Two Florida Home Goods And Furniture Thrift Stores Are Closing And Liquidating Inventory

According to a 2023 article by Good Housekeeping, Americans throw away over twelve million tons of furniture each year. Considering all that waste, it makes sense that there are plenty of places where one can buy second-hand or vintage furniture.

According to Ibis World, Florida has just over 1,300 thrift stores and many Floridians enjoy shopping at them. After all, one man’s trash is reportedly another man’s treasure. And many enjoy the thrill of the hunt.

Some popular options for Floridians who are hunting for vintage furniture are The Vintage Chair in Orlando and Faith Farm Thrift Store in Fort Lauderdale, to name just a few options.

Unfortunately, a couple of Florida furniture thrift options are going to close down. But on the positive side, the inventory is currently being liquidated so perhaps there are bargains to be had.

About Habitat For Humanity ReStores: These stores are nonprofit home improvement stores. According to the organization’s website, customers can typically find items that they’d find at a home improvement store plus furniture, appliances, home goods, and building materials.
