Deerfield Beach – The campaign to halt the reopening of an asphalt plant here has drawn a response from Ryan Southern, the company renovating the site at 1200 S. Powerline Road. Both factions, StopTheStinkDeerfield and Ryan’s TruthMattersDeerfield, were launched in a professional manner with robocalls, Facebook posts, and mailings to residents in western neighborhoods of the city.
