MIAMI – A man and a woman wanted in connection with a shooting in Palm Beach County were taken into custody Wednesday afternoon following a violent crash in Miami involving several vehicles.
The crash happened on the corner of NE 82nd Street and Biscayne Boulevard and caused a City of Miami police vehicle to flip over.
Despite the severity of the crash, police say no one was hurt.
Police say the suspect led police on a chase at around 1:45 p.m. and ultimately crashed into four other cars.
The call originally came from Miami-Dade police, who were first following the suspect vehicle, before Miami Police Tactical Robbery Unit joined the pursuit.
With weapons drawn and surrounding a white Audi SUV, Miami officers took down a man who police believe may have been involved in a shooting out of Palm Beach County. The woman had been driving the Audi, according to police.
